FAMAS | Meltdown was added to the game on September 22, 2021, as part of The 2021 Train Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Riptide.

The entire body of the rifle has been painted with a black and gold pattern in the form of randomly scattered radiation signs. The handle and back part of the buttstock are painted khaki. The metal plate on the buttstock is black. The magazine remains unpainted.

The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.40, which makes FAMAS | Meltdown available in all conditions except Battle-Scarred. Small abrasions are already present on the body of the weapon in Factory New condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the number and size of abrasions increase significantly.

The quality of FAMAS | Meltdown is Classified. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter and has no souvenir version.
