M249 | O.S.I.P.R. was added to the game on May 3, 2021, as part of The Snakebite Collection, which was released alongside The End of Broken Fang update. The skin was created by kai.

The body of the machine gun is coated with gray-blue metallic paint. The barrel, handle and buttstock are black. The magazine is complemented with a gray logo, an icon with an arrow, and the lettering “O.S.I.P.R.”

Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.70, which makes M249 | O.S.I.P.R. available in all conditions. Small abrasions appear on the weapon's body in Field-Tested condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the number and size of abrasions increase.

The quality of M249 | O.S.I.P.R. is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is available with a StatTrak counter. The design of the skin refers to the "Overwatch Standard Issue Pulse Rifle" from Half-Life 2.
