Stiletto Knife | Fade was added to the game on August 2, 2016, alongside "A New Horizon" update. The skin is available in cases “Horizon” and “Danger Zone”.

The blade of the knife and the guard are chromed and coated with translucent paints creating gradient transitions. The pattern is made in various shades of purple, pink and yellow. The color ratio depends on the pattern index. The handle remains unpainted.

Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.08, which makes Stiletto Knife | Fade available only in Factory New and Minimal Wear condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the knife has small scratches and abrasions located on the spine and the tip.

The quality of Stiletto Knife | Fade is Covert. The skin has a StatTrak option and belongs to the "Fade" series.

The skin became very popular after the release and remains in demand today.

The pattern index affects the color ratio of the skin. Stiletto Knife | Fade with a maximum amount of purple on the tip of the blade (“100% Fade” or “Full Fade”) is considered to be the most valuable pattern variation. The less valuable pattern variations where the amount of purple decreases are titled “99% Fade” (or “fake Full Fade”) and “98% Fade”.
