AK-47 | Cartel was added to the game on January 8, 2015, as part of The Chroma Collection, which was released alongside the “Full Spectrum” update. The skin was created by coyote37, Anders, and Hanzo.

The receiver and the magazine are not painted and engraved with a pattern of flowers, skulls and intertwining snakes. The ornament is made in the style of the Mexican Day of the Dead. The metal parts of the rifle are coated with a layer of patina. The buttstock and the handguard are made of wood.

Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.75, which makes AK-47 | Cartel available in all conditions. Traces of wear such as scratches and abrasions do not appear on the body of the weapon even at the highest Float Values. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the layer of patina becomes noticeably darker.
