R8 Revolver | Desert Brush was added to the game on September 22, 2021, as part of The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Riptide.

The pistol’s body has been painted with an abstract pattern of different-sized strokes. The color scheme of the pattern consides brown and various shades of beige. The handle is painted solid beige.

The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.60, which makes R8 Revolver | Desert Brush available in all conditions. Small abrasions appear on the handle in Factory New condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, about 50% of the paint layer is peeled off.

The quality of R8 Revolver | Desert Brush is Consumer Grade. The skin is not available with a StatTrak counter and has no souvenir version.
