Sawed-Off | Bamboo Shadow was added to the game on May 27, 2015, as part of The Rising Sun Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Bloodhound.

The design of the skin is made in the style of traditional Japanese painting. The metal parts of the shotgun are painted black and adorned with a dark gray pattern in the form of bamboo sprouts. The buttstock and the handguard are painted dark gray. The design is complemented by a round red accent in the form of an author's stamp.

Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.60, which makes Sawed-Off | Bamboo Shadow available in all conditions. The first abrasions appear in different parts of the weapon in Field-Tested condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the entire body of the shotgun has significant abrasions, the metal parts are coated with a layer of rust.

The quality of Sawed-Off | Bamboo Shadow is Consumer Grade. The skin is not available with the StatTrak counter and has no souvenir option.
