SG 553 | Heavy Metal was added to the game on May 3, 2021, as part of The Snakebite Collection, which was released alongside The End of Broken Fang update. The skin was created by de puiseau.

The black body of the rifle is decorated with numerous dark metal studs. Some parts of the body are painted with a yellow-orange abstract pattern. The handle features a barely noticeable image of a predatory fish. The back part of the buttstock is engraved with three five-pointed stars.

Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes SG 553 | Heavy Metal available in all conditions. Small abrasions are already present on various parts of the weapon’s body in Factory New condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the number and size of abrasions increase slightly, the skin becomes noticeably darker.

The quality of SG 553 | Heavy Metal is Mil-Spec Grade. The skin is available with a StatTrak counter.
