SSG 08 | Death Strike is currently a rather popular skin, which is often seen in the game.

SSG 08 | Death Strike was added to the game on September 22, 2021, as part of The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, which was released alongside the start of Operation Riptide. The skin was created by Graff.

The rifle’s body has been painted with an image of a black scorpion surrounded by streaming sands. The handle and individual parts of the buttstock are decorated with textured rubber pads. The scope remains unpainted.

The skin's Float Value ranges from 0.00 to 0.80, which makes SSG 08 | Death Strike available in all conditions. Small abrasions appear on individual parts of the weapon in Minimal Wear condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the number and size of abrasions increase slightly. On the buttstock, the paint layer is almost completely peeled off, and the body of the rifle is coated with a layer of patina, which makes the skin look noticeably darker.
