Survival Knife | Slaughter was added to the game on November 18, 2019, as part of The Shattered Web Case, which was released alongside the start of Operation Shattered Web.

The blade of the knife is adorned with an abstract pattern made with aluminum and chrome paints and coated with red translucent paint. The handle remains unpainted.

Float Value of the skin ranges from 0.00 to 0.26, which makes Survival Knife | Slaughter available only in Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested condition. The first traces of wear in the form of small abrasions start to appear on the spine. At Float Values close to the maximum, the number and size of the abrasions increase.

The quality of Survival Knife | Slaughter is Covert. In some pattern variations, the elements of the pattern create different shapes resembling a heart, diamond, an angel, etc. The skin has a StatTrak option and belongs to the "Slaughter" series.

Survival Knife | Slaughter became popular after the release and remains in demand today.

The location and shapes of the pattern elements depend on the pattern index. Pattern variations with shapes resembling a diamond (or a diamond and a heart) are considered to be the rarest and the most expensive ones. The second-rarest pattern variations contain only a shape resembling a heart. Patterns with shapes resembling a dogbone or the Phoenix are less rare and considered to be the most common ones.
