Frequently asked questions

It is a free online tool that turns any CS2 inspect link into a pixel-perfect, 4K screenshot of the skin. The render shows both sides of the weapon along with its float value, pattern index, wear and applied stickers or charm — no Steam client, no extra software required.

This is the standard way to grab a link to any item listed on the Steam Market or sitting in an inventory. Open the Steam Community Market or a player's inventory, find the skin, then right-click the "Inspect in Game..." button and choose "Copy Link Address". Paste that URL into the input above and our tool will fetch the model directly — you don't need to click "Open Steam" or launch CS2 yourself.

If you want to inspect the skin yourself inside Counter-Strike 2: paste the inspect link you copied into your browser's address bar. A prompt will appear asking to "Open Steam" — confirm it. Steam launches CS2 and brings up the inspect UI automatically, letting you rotate the weapon and see the wear (float), pattern and stickers in real time. Our tool skips all of that and gives you the same view as a downloadable image.

The most common reason is the Steam Overlay being disabled — for the "Inspect in Game" function to trigger from a browser, the overlay must be active. Open Steam Settings → In-Game and make sure "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" is toggled ON. Other reasons: CS2 is still updating, the game is hung, or the Steam Game Coordinator is overloaded (common during Major tournaments or new Operation releases). Check SteamStat.us — if CS2 services are not "Normal", inspect links will time out.

Yes. Every screenshot is rendered at 3840×2160 (4K UHD) with sharp textures and accurate lighting. You can download the PNG and use it for inventory showcases, marketplace listings, YouTube thumbnails or social media without any extra editing.

It works for every CS2 item that has an inspect link: knives, gloves, rifles, pistols, agents and any StatTrak™ or Souvenir variant. Stickers, charms, name tags, float and pattern index are preserved exactly as in-game — useful for verifying "Phase" patterns on Doppler knives or specific wear patterns on Case Hardened skins before a trade.

Yes — the tool is completely free, with no watermark and no account required. Just paste an inspect link and download the result.
