Classic Knife | Blue Steel was added to the game on October 18, 2019, as part of the CS20 Case, which was released alongside the "Cache and Release" update.

The blade of the knife has been cold blued, which provided the steel surface with pale purple, blue and green areas. Traces of patina are also present on the blade. The guard and the handle remain unpainted.

Float Value of Classic Knife | Blue Steel ranges from 0.00 to 1.00, which makes the skin available in all conditions. Scratches and abrasions do not appear on the body of the knife. Traces of patina are present in different parts of the blade already in Factory New condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the entire blade is coated with a layer of patina and looks significantly darker.

The quality of Classic Knife | Blue Steel is Covert. The skin has a StatTrak option and belongs to the "Blue Steel" series.

The skin became very popular after the release, but over time its popularity has significantly decreased. Today, Classic Knife | Blue Steel is rarely seen in the game.
