StatTrak™ SSG 08 | Necropos (Battle-Scarred)

The StatTrak™ SSG 08 | Necropos is a visually arresting skin pulling from darker, occult influences. The basic color scheme employs greens and browns and features intricate, hand-drawn designs along the gun's body. The skin belongs to the Chroma 3 Case collection and was released in April 2016.

The Necropos skin belongs to the 'Restricted' rarity category. Therefore, it's relatively rare to come by from item drops, adding a sense of exclusivity to it. Its unique design and StatTrak™ feature contribute to its appeal among players.

The StatTrak™ SSG 08 | Necropos made its first appearance in CS:GO during the Chroma 3 Case Update in April 2016 and has since been a fan favorite.

The Necropos enjoys reasonable popularity within the CS:GO community. It's a worthy addition to a player's inventory, combining great aesthetics and a fan-favorite StatTrak™ feature.

This skin is exclusively compatible with the SSG 08 sniper rifle.

The main draw for the Necropos is its eerie, esoteric hand-drawn designs over a muted color palette, giving an almost ancient, ritualistic feel.

This skin was introduced to the CS:GO community during the Chroma 3 Case collection drop, one of the more prolific skin events in the game.

The name 'Necropos' could refer to the Greek term 'nekros,' meaning death, and 'pos,' meaning place - fitting well with the skin's dark designs.

Designed by Valve.

Detailing in the Necropos design complements the overall aesthetic of the SSG 08, utilizing a mixture of fine linework, shading, and texturing techniques.

The Necropos has received largely positive reviews, earning high marks for its appeal but moderate scores for wear and tear.

The introduction of the Necropos is significant as it introduced the genre of 'dark-themed, esoteric' skins to the CS:GO environment.

The skin's popularity primarily stems from its unique design and the added functionality of the StatTrak™ feature, which counts player kills.

The Necropos featured in the famous Chroma 3 Case collection which led to its increased popularity.

The designer took a bold move to create a darker-themed skin that diverges from the usually bright, flashy aesthetic of most CS:GO skins.

The intricate designs, both mathematical and organic, and the muted colors symbolize an affinity towards the old, the mystic, and the unknown.

Ownership of the Necropos carries with it an element of fascination with the occult or dark arts and serves as an extension of a player's in-game personality.

The Necropos has influenced the creation of more artistic, darker-themed skins in the CS:GO community.

While not as frequently seen in Esports as other big-ticket items, the Necropos remains a staple favorite among many players.

Players often brag about the number of kills they've accumulated with their StatTrak™ Necropos, each kill adding to the history of the skin.
