Float Value of Bayonet | Slaughter ranges from 0.00 to 0.26, which makes the skin available only in Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested condition. The first small abrasions start to appear on the spine. At Float Values close to the maximum, the cutting edge and the spine have noticeable scratches and abrasions.

The quality of Bayonet | Slaughter is Covert. In some pattern variations, the elements of the abstract pattern create different shapes resembling a heart, a diamond, a dogbone, etc. The skin has a StatTrak option and belongs to the "Slaughter" series.

Bayonet | Slaughter was very popular after the release, but today its popularity has decreased.

The location and shapes of the pattern elements depend on the pattern index. Pattern variations with shapes resembling a diamond (or a diamond and a heart) are considered to be the rarest and the most expensive ones. The second-rarest pattern variations contain only a shape resembling a heart. Patterns with shapes resembling a dogbone or a butterfly are less rare and considered to be the most common ones.

Bayonet | Slaughter was added to the game on August 14, 2013, alongside "The Arms Deal" update. The skin is available in 11 cases released in 2013-2015.
